I often make smaller prints, which are more “traditional,” in many different common printmaking mediums, including Intaglio, Lithography, Relief, Silkscreen, and Photo printmaking. When I stay at a residency where I have limited materials, I often use milk cartons to make quick drypoint prints. These smaller prints are done either before or after I create my “large installation” prints. Although I call these prints “study prints” that doesn't mean they are studies for my large prints. My large prints can be a study for these smaller prints.
