Prayers in Day Care
This is a series depicting potholders that my daughter made while she was in her day care and waiting for her pick up. She needed to keep her hands moving and make something in order to forget her loneliness. Each potholder contained her prayer that her mother will be fine and come to pick her up at the end of each day. She explained to me these feeling she had as a child much later, when she grew up. There must be many children’s prayers in this world, and their voices need to be heard.
